The “your guide to digital photography” course from Dan Feildman of “Learn Digital Photography Now” claims that it will finally have you shooting beautiful digital photos and creating those awesome digital memories you’ve always wanted!
So is it for real or just some scam?
I’m happy to be able to say that this course is totally on the board and really can deliver on its clams.
The thing that intrigued me about the course the most besides the fact that it is very well structured and easy to follow, is its completeness, from basic picture taking and framing to advanced manual camera settings, from everyday photography to more specialist night photography, desert photography, landscapes etc, from choosing the right camera to printing and storing/editing your photographs, from getting your photos online to making money with your digital photography!
I have never reviewed a photography course before that is as complete as “your guide to digital photography” by author Dan Feildman. And what’s more Dan Feildman has gone and made video tutorials of the techniques discussed in the books in the course. This is, in my opinion, a very big plus as there is nothing like an expert leading you by the hand showing you exactly how it should be done right in front of your eyes.

Dan Feildman runs “Learn Digital Photogrqphy Now” with the help of fellow photographer and author David Peters. Both are professionals who have been teaching others the art of photography for some time now. Their focus on quality shines through in “your guide to digital photography” and as such together with its completeness and video tutorials I find it to be an excellent package for those wanting to really take their digital photography to a whole new level.
So who is your guide to digital photography for?
Well if you’re already a professional photographer who’s looking for a very technical manual on some new complex techniques this course isn’t going to be for you.
Your guide to digital photography is for all beginner to amateur photographers. My guess would be that due to the completeness of the course even most amateurs that have been taking photographs for years should come away from this course as better photographers, hell I know I did. Also due to the good structuring of the course and clear instructions given, both in the books and videos, I would say that even the most basic of beginners should have no problem following the course.
Naturally thou, those who buy and then don’t put the effort in to go through the materials provided aren’t going to see an improvement in there photography, but if you do take this course and apply what you learn I really don’t see how it would be possible for you not to greatly improve your photography.
The bottom line is this is one great course that rivals, and in many cases comes out on top of, many other far more expensive courses available on and off line, so naturally I highly recommend it.
